PGRC was established
as an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA)
chartered club in 1964.

PGRC has
actively
promoted the
enjoyment of
building and
flying radio
controlled model
aircraft for
everyone since
its original
establishment.
|
The club
currently is
comprised of
approximately
160 members from
the Maryland and
Virginia areas.
|
PGRC is renowned for accommodating new-comers in
the hobby.
|
PGRC has an an active
Remote Control Pilot Training program that is
conducted on Tuesday afternoons during the warm
weather months (April through October
- weather &
daylight permitting).

Spectators are
highly
encouraged to
visit us at our
flying field
anytime.
|
PGRC has a 40 X
400' asphalt
paved runway and
100 X 800' grass
strip which
provides ample
pit and
unobstructed
flying areas.

The PGRC field
area also
provides ample
room for
picnics, parking
or just watching
the planes or
helicopters fly.
