PGRC  was established  as an  Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) chartered club in 1964.

PGRC has actively promoted the enjoyment of building and flying radio controlled model aircraft for everyone since its original establishment.

The club currently is comprised of approximately 160 members from the Maryland and Virginia areas.

PGRC is renowned for accommodating new-comers in the hobby.

PGRC has an an active  Remote Control Pilot Training program that is conducted on Tuesday afternoons during the warm weather months (April through October - weather & daylight permitting).

Spectators are highly encouraged to visit us at our flying field anytime.

PGRC has a 40 X 400' asphalt  paved runway and 100 X 800' grass strip which provides ample pit and unobstructed flying areas.

The PGRC field area also provides ample room for picnics, parking or just watching the planes or helicopters fly.
